I was told I could be the ADHD poster child by my tester. One trick I have is that I have a 3 ring binder where I keep track of my gardening. I also keep a running list of to do chores. I pick 5 at a time to tackle. I would keep post its in your greenhouse with a pen so you can make visual cues to help add to the chore list and to draw your attention to certain plants . This something you cannot do without a greenhouse. Mine blew away in high winds. All 3 of them. You should have seen the goats when they saw that. They would not go in their shed for hours. Anyway. Keep at it.

It takes a beautiful brutally honest ADHD gardener to make such a wonderful video. This is far more instructional thanseeing perfect plants and hearing about what could happen if you don’t do A. B. &C. Good job.

Thanks you so much for this video. We thought they were annuals but after seeing this in the fall , I kept them. 4out of 5 survived the 7b winter and now they are bushy and putting on blooms this early!!!

fungus gnats are attracted by wet decomposing bark/wood media. use peat or coir instead and no more fungus gnats. standard seed raising mix by australian horticultural society is vermiculite and gritty sand, in 2:1 ratio.

I have utilized this method to the tune of approximately 500 trees

Wrap some masking tape around your hand and pat the eggs . They will stick to the tape,pull the tape of and throw away and repeat!!

How many times do u leave a tool somewhere and walk back to find it…get distracted by something else (dead heading or picking at leaves lol)….finally get back to where u needed the tool….go to find the tool….repeat. My garden is actually pretty nice at this point and as organized as it’s gonna get. I’m OCD as well so if I get going I just can’t quit until what I had in my head is complete. I had back problems for almost 4yr and had surgery 2mo ago. I feel so SO much better! I’ve been a mad woman outside almost to the point my husband has to come get me and remind me to rest because I will stay out from dawn to dusk.

We haven’t stopped raining so I haven’t fertilized anything yet.

I made weed tea in a kitty litter bucket, filled it about 2/3 of the way with weeds, then filled the bucket with water. Put on the lid, let it sit, and when I did finally open it, the smell was absolutely rank. I strained it, and use about a cottage cheese container full to a 2 gallon watering can of water. My plants seem to like it, they look quite happy.

Lol! If you really want to amend your soil with nitrogen, just add blood meal!

If y'all didn't already know, marigolds aren't pest-proof at all but they do have a special talent. They attract tiny parasitic wasps that eat aphids and lay their eggs in the larvae of whiteflies, moths, mealybugs, and stinkbugs. So marigolds don't repel pests, they call in targeted airstrikes on them.

I added charcoal to help, NOT COMPLETE, tamper the smell.....
